New, optimized design with large friction surface for more braking power and less brake fade. The newly designed aluminum spider with 7-point mount the friction ring also ensures better heat dissipation and lower weight. By reducing the vibration of the disc when braking the noise was reduced again.

The rounded edges on the top of the disc minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the Cycling World Association UCI. As a further advantage they facilitate the wheel installation, because the rounded top prevents tilting in the caliper.
