The Thunder Burt is Schwalbe's fastest mountain bike tire. It is the perfect tire for MTB racing with Schwalbe's new ADDIX compound. With this new rubber compound, Schwalbe has succeeded in improving its tires in almost all disciplines. The development goal of the Thunder Burt was to combine the best of Racing Ralph and Furious Fred in one tire. With its many small lugs, the Thunder Burt is hot on the heels of the Racing Ralph when it comes to grip and even overtakes the Furious Fred when it comes to rolling resistance.
